Visualisation
Visualisation covers making visible what does not show itself: objects that do not exist yet, locations that cannot be entered, and processes that stay invisible in a photograph — as an image, as footage, or as an application someone can look around in themselves.
Three Forms, One Question
Which form fits depends on what needs to be seen. A 3D render shows something not yet built, or a cross-section that cannot be made in reality. Aerial footage shows a location the way nobody normally sees it — a site, a roof, a route through a hall. An interactive application hands the viewer control: turn it themselves, zoom in themselves, choose their own order.
From Model to Application
What is modelled in Blender can move on to Unity and become interactive. That is not theory: we have used that route for our own game titles, and for a 360-degree aircraft model moving through cloud. The same model that produces a still becomes something to look around in, without starting over.
The Same Practice as the Software
Imagery and engineering meet here. A render that has to land in a web shop, footage that has to fit inside an application, a 3D model feeding a product configurator: all of that works better when whoever makes the image also knows how the system underneath is put together. No handover between two parties guessing at each other''s file formats.
