Plan your seasonal look ahead: theme variants that go live on a date by themselves

Every Christmas, Black Friday or spring campaign means adjusting colours and banners by hand on the day itself — often outside office hours. Seasons lets you save named variants of your theme configuration and schedule them; at the chosen moment the variant is applied automatically and the theme recompiled.

What the plugin does

  • Save named variants of your theme configuration (colours, fonts, any theme.json field) for any Shopware 6.7 theme
  • Schedule per sales channel when a variant goes live; the next start is the previous end — no end dates to maintain
  • Reliable scheduler: checks every minute in UTC, retries with increasing back-off, missed moments are caught up
  • Per variant a hero image from the media library, via an include or tb_seasons_active_hero()
  • Managed under Content → Seasons: overview (active, next, activity log), variants (edit, clone, diff view), schedule with status badges
  • Safe start: a baseline variant of your settings plus four samples that can only be scheduled after editing; one-click rollback
  • Dutch, English and German; no visitor data

Free and open source under the MIT licence, installed directly via Composer, with no registration and no licence key. We maintain the plugin with security and compatibility fixes until at least December 2032.

Works with the rest of the range

Plugins of the range detect each other and connect automatically when they are installed together, for example newsletter sign-ups from the launch page or encyclopedia pages as a dimension in Analytics. Each plugin also works on its own; nothing is gated behind buying another one.

Data and privacy

The plugin stores only your variants and schedules (tables tb_seasons_variant and tb_seasons_schedule, plus a pointer to the active hero image in the system configuration; a failed activation keeps its error message) — no visitor data.

Quality

PHPStan level 8, PHPUnit and PHP-CS-Fixer as quality gates per repository. Documentation, changelogs and snippets in Dutch, English and German. No advertisements or upgrade prompts inside the Shopware Administration.
